Art
I paint what catches my eye — then usually interfere with it.
Flowers, gardens, landscapes and the occasional building are starting points. From there, things tend to get looser: colour gets pushed, shapes simplified, layers added, scraped back and drawn over.
I work mainly in mixed media and acrylic, somewhere between observation and abstraction. I rarely know exactly where a painting is going when I start, which is probably the point.
